I revisited the mix to this track in 2022, and put a bit more time into the post-production of the vocals. This is the version that is on the "2013-2022 Collection" compact disc. There are still "shits" in this version.
"I'm An Idiot" was a song that my college band, My Kids Are Jerks, played. I wrote it for a speech that I gave in a public speaking class at the University of Vermont. The title of my speech was, "How To Write A Bad Song". We started playing it at shows, and recorded it for our album, 'Love Is A Weapon'. I remember it being our least favorite song to play, but you'd have to ask Justin and Dan.
